St Gall Catholic Church Stewardship

Diocesan Stewardship 2010 is the annual time to make a commitment to support the Church family beyond the borders of St. Gall Parish. While our participation and support of our own parish is of utmost importance, our Diocese is important and asks for support also.

This year's theme, One Priestly People Supporting Each Other through Service and Sacrifice draws our attention to Christ who unites the laity and the clergy to be in communion with each other, with our diocesan pastor, Bishop Doran, and the Universal Church headed by our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI. This unity was begun through our baptism in which we were initiated into the Ministry of Chirst as priest, prophet and king. The baptismal call has given each person a specific vocation for the fulfillment of God's Will through the life of the church and society.

We urge you to return the pledge card you receive in the mail to us as soon as you can. If you are unable to participate this year because of a persoan difficulty, please mark you pledge card with a note saying "unable to give this year." No other request will be sent to you. However if you can participate, we ask for your sacrificial gift.

Your response by May 31st whether you can give or not will be greatly appreciated and help us reduce the amount of following up we have to do with those who have not told us of the intentions.
